ALL ABOUT ME

Putting myself out there in such a public manner is not always easy, but I’ve found that the more I do the easier it is. I am attempting to blog about my dad and his recent dementia diagnosis. I feel this platform will allow me to share updates in regard to my dad, from my point of view, to those who want them and those who love him. In addition, I feel this blog will help me process what is happening instead of holding it all inside like I normally do. 

I consider this platform an ongoing diary about my family. This is very difficult however, the more personal research I did, I struggled to find actual humans to connect with about their experiences navigating Demetia of a loved one. I began to feel incredibly alone. My hope is that anyone who stumbles on this page and can related, feels less alone.
